Morning and Evening on East Lake

I have two views of East Lake for you today.
The first was taken at 9:30 AM , it was cloudy and the temperature was 17 degrees C .  The lake was quite calm.  Just a beautiful morning.

The second picture was taken at 9:30 PM . The temperature was 23 degrees C and the sun was setting.

A much nicer day than yesterday .
East Lake at 9:50 am - Sunny with a few clouds
Temperature 10 C - A little windy  , winds at 50 km from the North
That's a fine sheen glittering across the lake.

A Rough Day On East Lake

Obviously the lake has been thawed for weeks now. Geese have returned, ducks have arrived and even baby goslings can be seen.
Yesterday was a beautiful day around the lake with a high temperature of 28 C and sunny skies. Sorry I don't have a picture from yesterday, but today's photo shows a totally different lake.

The skies are cloudy, it is raining, very windy blowing from the north and cold. Picture was taken at 4:45 pm and the temperature was just 3 C.

Looks like a Chinook Cloud or Arch, however it is just cloud.

New Year's Eve Fireworks Over East Lake 2016

Here's a couple pictures of the fireworks over East Lake this past New Year's Eve 2016. Looks like we blasted our way into 2017.
